Description:

Unexpected complication: The construction company that carried out the renovation had not prepared a load-bearing mounting reinforcement, such as an OSB board, behind the plasterboard where the future kitchen would be installed. Instead, the wall was covered only with two layers of plasterboard. In terms of load capacity for heavy wall cabinets, this did not improve the situation and was completely insufficient for safe installation.
Implementation and technical solutions:

Special anchoring: We had to find a safe and reliable solution so the cabinets would not fall. We located the original load-bearing concrete wall behind the plasterboard and installed special concealed anchors at a complex angle.
Guaranteed stability: Thanks to our experience and technical skills, we anchored the entire kitchen so that all wall-mounted modules had full strength without compromising the aesthetic appearance.

Result: The customer was informed in detail in advance about the plasterboard situation and our non-standard anchoring method. When we spoke with him a year after installation, he did not hide his surprise at the quality of the work: the wall cabinets are still completely firm and have not sagged by even a single millimetre.
